Because silver ions naturally resist bacteria, your Nodpod silk pillowcase can stay fresher up to 3–5 times longer than traditional silk pillowcases. Of course, things like makeup, hair products, and natural oils still build up, so we recommend washing when it feels right for you.

For the longevity and preservation of Mineralized Silk pillowcase, hand wash in cold water with a pH-neutral detergent. If you prefer machine washing, use the delicate cycle in a silk-only load. Turn the pillowcase inside out, avoid bleach or fabric softeners, and dry flat or hang in the shade out of direct sunlight.

Our Mineralized Silk™ is treated with silver ions, they aren’t woven into the fabric itself. That treatment is designed to last for years of normal use.
